The PORAVER Group is the global market leader in the production and distribution of expanded glass granules, a lightweight mineral aggregate based on recycled glass. Only recycled glass is used for the glass component of PORAVER. For more than four decades, PORAVER expanded glass has been used as a proven lightweight aggregate in construction materials and a wide range of industrial applications. PORASPHERES hollow glass spheres are a further development of PORAVER and are specifically designed for use in liquid and pasty formulations. The mineral hollow glass spheres are based on recycled glass. Each PORASPHERES particle features a single cavity and a closed surface, resulting in low liquid absorption and a low particle density. PORASPHERES are available in four particle sizes ranging from 90 to 700 µm and are particularly suitable for paints, coatings and other liquid or paste-like material systems.
