Overview
Drying performance is a critical parameter in high-performance coatings, directly affecting production efficiency and final film properties. Traditionally, metal-based driers such as cobalt have been widely used due to their high catalytic activity in oxidative curing systems. However, increasing environmental and regulatory concerns have accelerated the search for more sustainable alternatives. This study focuses on modern drier approaches aimed at achieving faster curing while reducing environmental impact. The roles of primary, secondary, and auxiliary driers are discussed in relation to their mechanisms, including surface and through-drying behavior. In addition, it will be presented innovative oxime-free antiskinng agent with the performance results.
