Overview
This session reviews current industrial applications where digital coating technologies are already transforming manufacturing processes, including packaging, wood, ceramics, electronics, glass and functional coatings. The session will explore how inkjet coating is enabling new levels of design flexibility, material efficiency and process control through precision digital deposition. Real-world examples will demonstrate the transition from conventional coating methods towards digital and hybrid coating solutions. The session concludes by examining emerging opportunities in advanced manufacturing, sustainability, customised surface finishing and the future development of next-generation digital coating technologies
